Summary

We were asked to build a web platform that makes school fundraisers simple to run and easy to join. Schools needed something fast for staff, fun for students, and effortless for families.

The Task

Create a multi-role system for students, parents, schools, and admins. Make sharing work on every device. Power a live presentation for events. Support fair team competition. Provide clear analytics and content oversight.

The Challenges

  • Different roles needed focused flows without confusion.
  • Sharing had to work even on devices without native share support.
  • Presentations required real-time updates that stayed reliable during assemblies.

The Solution

We designed and shipped a production web app that matches how schools operate. Students create a profile with a photo and a short bio. They share with one tap through the Web Share API. When a device does not support it, they can send an email invite or copy a link. Parents use the same flows.

A presentation mode shows donations and new participants as they happen and helps the sales team energize the room. The system groups students into teams automatically and tracks standings for friendly competition.

Admins create and manage campaigns, schools, teams, and students from one console. Moderation keeps photos and bios appropriate and protects school branding. Analytics show progress and results in a way that is easy to share with leadership.

Outcome

Impact Processed over $100,000 in raised funds to date and growing.
